The Mighty Men!
The Men’s Department will lead, oversee the discipleship and deploy men to live for Christ in their marriages, families, work, church, world and personal lives. The department would ensure harmony and partnership working with all other departments in the church parish. Assist the pastor in fulfilling the mission and vision of the RCCG and local parish.
Working Relationships:
The Department is directly supervised by the Pastor and all members are accountable to the Pastor, the church trustees and ultimately the general RCCG.
Ministry Duties:
Pastoral oversight of men of all ages in the parish to become spiritually mature, teachable, trustworthy, compassionate, humble and able to lead a Godly life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Encourage the men to work with the vision of the RCCG and local parish.
- Develop and mentor all men for various roles in the church, socially and at home.
- Encourage men to be prayerful, and ensure the spiritual health and growth of their children and family
- Encourage men to be more organised, teamwork, faithful, fruitful and lead a life of fulfilment
- Organize and implement men’s events, conferences, retreats, projects, and activities
- Follow up with men who are yet to be fully involved and new converts to the church parish.
- Empower men to serve and develop a mentoring culture.
General Duties:
- Attend regular workers’ prayers and staff meetings.
- Participate during worship in leadership roles as required.
- Perform administrative tasks relating to the department as required.
- Provide basic counselling for church members as requested.
- Attend all RCCG-wide functions and participate in Sunday, Wednesday, and Prayer vigil programs of the parish.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the pastor.
